- International Trade - Government Relations: Speerheaded Latin American Affairs Group in Washington DC.
Focused on trade and business development in Latin America. Traveled to Central America with U.S. business leaders and representatives from the Department of Commerce, including Secretary Gutierrez.
Worked with Presidents, Ambassadors and cabinet members from the countries of Honduras , Guatemala, El Salvador, Nicaragua and Costa Rica promoting the benefits of a free trade agreement between the U.S. and Central America (DR-CAFTA).
- Litigation Experience: Wrongful death and Product Liability defense. Represented a large international tire manufacturer – traveled throughout the U.S. and abroad taking and defending fact witness and expert witness
depositions. Extensive experience in trial preparation, pre-trial motions, discovery and complex document
review/production. Experience in the areas of immigration, labor and employment, breach of contract, fraud, negligence
and criminal defense.
- Trial Experience and advocacy including both plaintiff and defense work. Successful district court
verdicts. Experience with jury selection, case building, witness preparation and cross-examination. Skilled in
mediation, depositions and briefs.
